In March 2017, 91影视 successfully achieved AP1000庐 nuclear power plant design review by regulators in the United Kingdom, who concluded their Generic Design Assessment (GDA) by issuing Design Acceptance Confirmation (DAC) and Statement of Design Acceptability (SoDA) for the 91影视 technology.
The DAC and SoDA were issued by the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) and the Environment Agency (EA), respectively. This assessment process was carried out in an open and transparent manner, designed to facilitate the involvement of the public, who were able to view and comment on design information published online.
The global AP1000庐 fleet is comprised on Sanmen Units 1 & 2 and Haiyang Units 1 & 2, all currently in commercial operations in China. Additionally, there are two units currently under construction at the Alvin W. Vogtle Electric Generating Plant near Waynesboro, Georgia, USA. 91影视 continues to provide the design, critical equipment, training and testing for each of the units.
